Summary

Kiyoshii is a macOS app that works with the clipboard and transforms text on your computer. We do not operate in-app accounts, do not sell personal data, and do not use advertising trackers as part of the app.

Data the app may involve

  • Clipboard contents — processed when you open Kiyoshii and run an action (for example, writing edits, translation, code or JSON workflows).
  • Optional local logs — when enabled, the app may store on your device a list of recent plain-text copies and a history of successful transformations. This information stays on your Mac; you can turn off journal-style recording in the app’s settings.
  • App preferences — stored locally (including via standard macOS mechanisms such as User Defaults).

AI processing

Transformations use on-device Apple Intelligence capabilities when they are available on your system. For these flows, processing is not sent to our servers as part of a Kiyoshii cloud “backend”: the app is designed to work without third-party AI API keys. How Apple’s system technologies handle data is governed by Apple’s policies and settings on your Mac.

Networking and automation

  • The app is not intended to send clipboard contents to our servers for AI transformations (see above).
  • For advanced setups, a local HTTP control interface on the same Mac may be available: it is meant for on-machine automation and is only active to the extent you enable and use it.

Children

The app is not directed at collecting data from children under 13 as a separate audience. Parents and guardians decide how the Mac and installed software are used.

Changes

We may update this document from time to time. The current version is published with the app’s materials or at the link provided in the App Store.
